About this month's artists:

Drew Hale

All over the Midwest and around the country, the name Drew Hale is synonymous with soaring vocals, haunting melodies, and high energy live shows. A native Texan, Drew’s style of music pays homage to his roots in the red dirt and southern rock scenes of Texas and the Southwest, while his lyrics speak to his deep affection for the lifestyle and culture of his home in Northern Michigan. Drew is the winner of the 34th annual Country Showdown national championship, which took place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and earned him the title of ‘Best New Act in Country Music’. Most recently, Drew gained national attention winning the Tractor Supply Emerging Artists competition, landing him on the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee alongside mentor Lainey Wilson. 

SYDNI K

A solo singer, songwriter, & musician who specializes in country music. For several years, Sydni has traveled around Michigan performing in multiple well-known resorts and destinations. During this time, she has also worked avidly to perfect her musicianship, writing dozens of originals and working directly with some of the best in the business. Additionally, she released her debut EP (recorded in Nashville) “All of the Rumors are True” early Spring 2019. As she continues performing around the state, she has spent much of her time promoting on radio/news stations, including multiple appearances on 9&10 news’ “The Four”. Due to Sydni’s unique songs, vocal/musical abilities, and infectious personality on and off stage, her performance is always a fan-favorite! You WON’T want to miss it!

Kyle Rasche

Kyle Rasche (Alto, MI) is a father, songwriter, playwrite, & assistant soccer coach for the U8 Girls Purple Hyenas. To make things confusing, he has released seven albums under the moniker Chain of Lakes. He writes what he knows: family, friendship, and the beauty and strife that comes with an unflinching compulsion to sing about his feelings. His gift is translating those feelings in full, delivering delicate, thoughtful songs that span the spectrum from heart-wrenching to hilarious - often in the same song. Kyle is the primary songwriter for The Real Humdingers (“kid songs for everyone”), has contributed songs for several musical theatre works, including his own Michigan folk musical called The Keeper, which is currently in workshop stages.
