Event Details

As part of our celebration of Michigan Wine Month, the we have partnered with the Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula® (WOMP) to host a special one-night food-wine pairing event. Wines from eight WOMP wineries will be paired with delicious small plates on Saturday, April 9 starting at 7:00pm. Traverse City musician Blake Elliott will be performing live throughout the night.

DATE: Saturday, April 9

TIME: 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Governors' Hall at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa

WINERIES INCLUDE: 2 Lads Winery, Black Star Farms, Bowers Harbor Vineyards, Brys Estates, Chateau Chantal, Chateau Grand Traverse, Hawthorne Vineyards and Peninsula Cellars.

TICKETS: $75 per adult and includes eight wine/food pairing tickets. Additional pairing tickets will be available for purchase on-site at the event. *Price includes tax and gratuity. Must be 21.

PAIRING DINNER MENU:

  • Pork Belly Confit | Slow braised pork belly served in puff pastry with smoked fontina cheese, cherry barbecue sauce, pickled shallots, and micro chervil. Paired with wine from Peninsula Cellars
  • Crispy Garlic Chicken Lettuce Wraps | Crispy garlic chicken, fried basil, marinated vegetables served in butter lettuce wraps. Paired with wine from Hawthorne Vineyards
  • Grilled Stuffed Endive | Grilled radicchio salad served in a Bulgarian endive topped with candied nuts, gorgonzola, and honey wine vinaigrette. Paired with wine from Chateau Chantal
  • Smoked Beef Brisket | House smoked beef brisket with wild mushroom ragout served with Detroit Street Brick goat cheese polenta and a rich cherry beef demi sauce. Paired with wine from Chateau Grand Traverse
  • Lobster Bisque Cappuccino| A rich lobster bisque served cappuccino style with foamed crème and fennel oil and fennel sprig. Paired with wine from Bowers Harbor Vineyards
  • Mascarpone Amaretto Cheesecake with Passion Fruit Glaze | Paired with wine from Black Star Farms
  • Velvet Chocolate Mousse Crunch | Paired with wine from 2 Lads Winery
  • Seafood Ceviche | Paired with wine from Brys Estate
