About This Event
Fountain Point Supper Series began with The Accidentals and a crazy idea to host a concert series and a festival and it has been a great way to bring artists from all over the state (and country) to Northern MI. We know everyone of the acts playing this summer and have probably played several shows with them, you are gonna love all of them!
This year, we moved the series to Sunday, doors at 3pm -visit with your neighbor and make new friends, enjoy the beach, or watch your kids play on the fort! We will have beverages and snacks available for the whole family. Then, concert at 4pm and dinner at 5:30pm. The goal is to create a sense of community in a safe space.
We want Sundays at Fountain Point to feel like a beautiful end and beginning of the week. We invite you to come and truly relax. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, your own food and beverage or enjoy the food and drink we will be serving. We will offer sandwiches from local restaurants, snacks, and drinks including local beer and wine. There will be vegetarian and gluten free options.
We're looking forward to sunny days and music for the whole family.
Best,
Amber Buist
Rebel Eves
Our motto as a band is "connection over perfection” both on and off the stage and that is exactly what our newest single, First Place, is about. Written by Eves members Jilian Linklater and Katie Pederson, First Place was born out of late night conversations about burnout, the never-ending pursuit of “more”, and the desire to reconnect with music purely for the love of it.
“This business can be so cut throat and the focus tends to be on money, fame, & streams. The industry constantly pits women against each other… starting this band and seeing how much joy and connection it has brought us and our audiences has been a really good reminder of why we began making music in the first place.”
First Place is now out on all streaming platforms. The new single was recorded at Troubadour Studios in Lansing, Michigan & was engineered and mixed by Corey DeRushia and mastered by Darren Vermaas.
