The Real Ingredients are a mostly acoustic duo from Petoskey, who have been playing music together since their middle school years. Bringing different musical tastes together, The Real Ingredients mix genres that include folk, rock, and funk with a singer/songwriter charm and a dash of humor.

After a hiatus to go to college, Sean Miller and Traven Lawrence Michaels reunited with the vision of playing music together again and creating a sound of their own. The duo, in just two short years, have now played throughout Michigan from south of Grand Rapids up to Mackinaw and everywhere in between. They have also been noted as "one of the hardest working bands in Michigan" by the Northern Express and have been featured on Local Spins for their tiny desk concert submission and 9&10 News with their original song For Granted that talks about clean water, shutting down Line 5 and not taking water and the state of Michigan for granted.

A Brighter Bloom is the culmination of many years of music behind the belts of Todd Aldrich and Lauren Onica. The two started playing together in 2014 after meeting at a local open mic. their shared love of harmony quickly turned into a love for one another. Writing music together came easily and the two released their first collection of music in early 2017 with a self-titled EP.

A Brighter Bloom’s songs are about reflection. Who we are, who we used to be, and everything in between. Todd and Lauren use a unique combination of percussive layers, soaring harmonies and entrancing energy to create original tracks that move with life. They add distinctive takes on some notable covers. Using an acoustic guitar, ukulele, foot percussion, keyboard, and their voices, they create a vigor that bids you to stomp and invites you to experience their stories.
