A traditional story with original choreography by company Artistic Director, Thomas Morrell, The Nutcracker is an audience favorite! Be sure to follow us for all updates and performance dates. In addition to shows in our home of Traverse City, NMBT takes The Nutcracker on tour to a new community every year.

The Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre was founded in September of 1997 by Director Thomas Morrell. Members are selected by open audition.
