About This Event
The Music House Welcomes Rivers, Sears and Chown for a Concert on Saturday, June 6 at 7:00 PM
The Music House is pleased to welcome Rivers, Sears, and Chown for Still Standing: A Musical Journey with the Lookout Cats. Vocalist Elizabeth Rivers, saxophonist Laurie Sears, and pianist David Chown performed together for more than 15 years as members of the popular Northern Michigan variety band the Lookout Cats. They now reunite for a special evening of jazz, pop, and blues. Rivers, Sears, and Chown are the last three surviving members of the group, which also included the late vocalist and percussionist Ronnie Hernandez and the late guitarist and vocalist Charlie Tomlin. This promises to be a memorable and meaningful performance in the intimate setting of the Music House Museum.
Tickets are available online at MyNorthTickets.com and musichouse.org, or reserved by calling 231-938-9300. We hope to see you there!
