Sometime in the future, after the almost end of the world, a group of castaways band together for survival, making a home in an abandoned train depot. To pass the time they tell stories about the the Little Prince and the Man From Mars, two spectacular alien beings who crashed to Earth and experienced the best and worst of humanity.
Featuring music from Prince and David Bowie, the story is a twisted reimagining of the revered Antoine de Saint-Exupery novella, The Little Prince, and the cult classic Bowie film, The Man Who Fell to Earth.
Our mission is to bring a unique rock ‘n roll theatre experience to
Traverse City. Our shows combine not only parodies and great music, but
also irreverent comedy, moments of improv and audience participation. At the heart of all of our
stories we seek to promote tolerance and inclusion and celebrate the
weird. We promise you there is nothing like it up north!
*Mashup Rock 'n Roll Musicals are a Berocratic Production and are not affiliated with Old Town Playhouse. We are grateful to them for renting us this performance space to create our own independent musical theater production.
