Fountain Point’s Summer Concert series continues with one of most electric artists of the summer, Cedric Burnside. Four-time winner of the Blues Music Award’s Drummer of the year and regarded in the music world as one of the best drummers on performing today makes this performance one you will not want to miss.
The Cedric Burnside Project aims to bring Mississippi Hill Country Blues across the country while sparking a new interest and energy around Blues music. Their latest album, Descendants of Hill Country, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Blues Album of the Year and embodies the essence of the Cedric Burnside Project. Cedric and childhood friend and guitarist, Trenton Ayers, have toured the world bring the sound of the Northern Mississippi Hills with them, so get your tickets for this awesome musical experience.
The lawn opens at 6:30 and the concert begins at 7:30. Youth 15 and under are free.
