The proceeds from this event benefit HELPLINK® a nonprofit organization that exists to help everyone live a life free from poverty. Whether it’s connecting people with immediate resources to solve a current crisis or providing longer term mentoring and financial coaching, HELPLINK® uses an efficient, cross-community collaborative model that includes existing services and volunteers working together to change people’s lives. Their services include the Drop-in Center, which helps people with a range of options for assistance; the Laundry Project, a free laundry program that provides laundering services to those struggling with the dignity of clean clothing and bedding; and mentoring that focuses on helping individuals succeed and reach their personal, career, and financial goals.
