Your team of 4 people can track their weight loss over 13 weeks. Weigh-in is on January 5th from 4-8 p.m. at the Hagerty Center. Registration fee is $10 per person and 50% of registration fees will be donated to our local food pantries. Weigh-Out is April 5th from 4-8 p.m. at the Hagerty Center. The Grand Prize is $1000; 2nd Place wins $750; and 3rd Place wins $500.

All individuals over 18 years of age are welcome to join but you must be a part of a team of four to participate. Don't have a team? No problem! Show up at the weigh in and we'll try to put singles together on a team! You must weigh in on January 5th between 4pm and 8pm at the Hagerty Center and weigh out on April 5th between 4pm and 8pm at the Hagerty Center to be able to win prizes. Alternate weigh-ins will take place at the Traverse City Record-Eagle at 120 W. Front St on January 4th & April 4th from 9am-11am. The weight loss of the teams during the contest will be entered into the TC Trimdown site weekly by the team captains. The total weight loss will be updated weekly in the Monday edition of The Record-Eagle by percentage of weight loss.

All individual weights will be kept confidential and locked up and away in The Record-Eagle safe. All TC Trimdown personnel assigned to weighing in are signed off to keep all information confidential. The only posted weight will be the team weight totals. During the contest, all weight loss is on your honor. At the end of the competition, we will have an official “weigh out”. Wear what you would like to be weighed in for clothing, and remember it for the weigh out. You will need to take off your shoes and empty your pockets before you hop on the scale.
