Attention cider lovers! Now is your chance to get out into the orchards to see where the start of cider begins. The event will include orchard tour rides, information on cider fruit, cider apple tastings, and an educational cider tasting that will feature key styles of cider.

For this year’s TC Cider Week, we are introducing Traverse City Cider Week - Orchard Tours and Cider Tasting; this event will be open to the public and a main focus of this year’s TC Cider Week. This event will be held October 21, 2017 from 1-4PM at the Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Center (NWMHRC) in Traverse City. Tours will take place from 1-2:30, formal tasting will take place from 2:30 - 4. The MCA plans to feature wagon tours of the cider blocks at the NWMHRC and end the day with a formal hard cider tasting in the conference room at the NWMHRC.
