Event Details

Northern Michigan hero returns to the MLAP amphitheater stage to bring his uncanny gift for connecting with audiences across generations through his music. Deeply rooted in the folk tradition, while incorporating elements from a wide range of genres, Joshua has a passion for creating music that brings people together in community.

Bring family and friends for a wonderful night of entertainment at an Art Park concert this summer. For over twenty years, concert-goers have enjoyed the fresh air, relaxed atmosphere and great music of Summer Sounds, a perfect way to spend a midsummer evening.

Tickets will be required for attendance at this year’s concerts. Some tickets will be available at the door, but we recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as some shows will sell out.

  • Guests are welcome to bring picnics, lawn chairs, or blankets. Art Park folding chairs will be available to rent or purchase.
  • To purchase your custom picnic dinner for two delivered to you at the concert, call Crystal Mountain at (231) 378-2000 ext. 5000.
  • Food and drink will be available to purchase at this concert.
  • The new accessible trail between the parking lot and the amphitheater is now open. Rides from the Art Park to the amphitheater will continue to be offered beginning at 6:15 p.m.
  • If raining, the concert will be held indoors at Crystal Mountain, signs will be posted.
  • The stage and seating area is treated regular for mosquitoes and insect repellent will be made available to guests.
  • Two ADA-compliant porta-johns are available on-site.
