​Comedians AJ Finney (Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing) and Brad Wenzel (Conan) will be performing stand-up comedy in Traverse City on April 8th at ECCO Event Space. Originally part of the 2016 Winter Comedy Fest, this show’s production continues despite the cancellation. Doors open at 7pm, show begins at 8pm. Tickets are $15 at the door and $12 in advance. AJ Finney:
Stylistically manic, artistically brilliant, AJ Finney is an eclectic Mid-Westerner with a passion for Comedy, Jam Bands, and Volkswagens. He’s like an Eco-Friendly, improvisational, sometimes philosophical, patchouli soaked quipster. AJ’s organic approach is refreshing, and his poetic stream of consciousness makes for a colorful and unforgettable comedic experience. In 2015 AJ joined T.J. Miller on his "Meticulously Ridiculous" Tour, In 2014 AJ was crowned The “Best of the Mid-West” winner at Gilda's Laughfest, was featured on FOX’s television show "Laughs”, and was one of the 100 Chosen for Season 8 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. In 2013 he was a Semi- finalist in Comedy Central’s “Up Next”, as well as a finalist in the 2011 San Francisco International Comedy Competition. He was voted “Best in Fest” at the 2011 Detroit Laugh Fest, and was a finalist in HBO’s Lucky 21 Comedy Competition.

Brad Wenzel:
Brad began doing stand up at the age of 17. After being successful in a number of local contests, he got his first taste of national success in 2012, when he was selected by Ricky Gervais as a finalist in the Late Night with Conan O'Brien Just Sayin’ Contest. In 2013, Brad made his festival debut atLaughFest in Grand Rapids, MI. Later that year, he took first place atCleveland Comedy Festival. In 2014, Brad performed at the Limestone Comedy Festival, was a finalist in Funny Or Die's “Road 2 Oddball”, and was selected to be one of the “New Faces” at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. In 2015, he performed at Riot LA: L.A.'s Alternative Comedy Festival, returned to the Limestone Comedy Festival, and won 1st place at the Great American Comedy Festival which is held in Norfolk, Nebraska to honor Johnny Carson. This year, Brad made his television debut on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Brad has opened for:Brian Posehn, Kathleen Madigan, Gilbert Gottfried, Pete Holmes, Louie Anderson, Jerrod Carmichael and Patton Oswalt. In addition to working with these acts, Brad tours comedy clubs around the country and has appeared at prominent showcases including Meltdown Comics and Collectibles,Knitting Factory Brooklyn in New York, and Comedians You Should Knowin Chicago.
