Burnt Marshmallow Brewing and Rudbeckia Winery’s Eclipse Fest 2017 is a great place to experience the Solar Eclipse. This Amazingly rare Celestial Event will be viewed by over 150,000,000 people in the United States! The next opportunity to experience an event like this in the US will be will be 2024.

Our location offers unobstructed views of the skies and 152 acres of land where you can make amazing memories with your family, friends and pets!
Although we are not in the Total Eclipse area in Petoskey - we are expected to experience approximately a 73% partial eclipse.
Gates will open at Noon. The Eclipse begins around 1:00pm and completes before 4:00pm. Event will end at 6:00pm
One pair of Eclipse protective glasses are included in each ticket price. Additional pairs can be purchased for $3 each.
All guests under 21+ must be accompanied by an adult. We are limiting the number of children per adult to four unless approved in advance by 8/20/2017.
Friendly Leashed Pets are welcome. Aggressive, barking and unfriendly Pets and Humans will be asked to leave the event.
We will tap kegs of “Saros-145” a special commemorative Belgian Dubbel made with Moon Pies at the commencement of the Eclipse at approximately 1:00pm. In order that everyone get the opportunity to try this beer,each Adult 21+ with a Beer Privilege ticket will be able to purchase one 16oz pour of Saros-145.
Plenty of Rudbeckia Wines and non-alcohol options will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol is permitted.
Beer is available for those holding Beer Privilege Tickets (any ticket purchased prior to August 5th)
Rudbeckia Farm in a No Smoking Facility for the entire 152 acres and all building.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes - You will be required to show ID - 21+ will be required to wear a wristband and a hand stamp in order to purchase beer, wine and cider.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We offer acres of free parking.
Holiday Inn Express and the Inn at Bay Harbor sometimes offer a complimentary shuttle into the center of Petoskey. They sometimes bring folks to our winery/brewery. Contact them directly to see if that is possible.
What can I bring into the event?
Lawn chairs, blankets etc. are encouraged
No outside alcohol is permitted. Beer, wine, cider and non-alcohol options will be available for purchase. We reserve the right to inspect backpacks, coolers, etc.
Although picnicking is permitted, we sincerely hope you will support our food vendor, Pigs Eatin' Ribs.
No Grills/Cooking onsite are permitted.
Are Pets Allowed?
Yes, provided they are leashed an well-behaved. Please bring a water bowl. We will have water available. Any aggressive pets and pets that bark excessively will be asked to leave.
We will provide porta-pottys for our guests. The two restrooms in the tasting room will be reserved for physically challenged, handicapped and those with special needs.
Are you Handicap Accessible?
Yes in some areas. We offer limited handicap parking. We will provide a drop off area near the tasting room. Our inside restrooms will be reserved for handicap and those needing special assistance. It would help if you contact us in advance so we can properly understand your needs. We will do our best to accommodate them.

What's the refund policy?
We will refund full ticket price if you notify us by August 1st 2017. Otherwise your ticket will become a face value coupon good from September 8, 2017 thru September 7, 2018 on a minimum wine/beer purchase of $20.
We intend to hold this event even if there is cloudy weather that impacts eclipse visibility. In the case of event cancellation due to a total rain out, your ticket will become a face value coupon good from September 8, 2017 thru September 7, 2018 on a minimum wine/beer purchase of $20.
I have heard it could be harmful to my eyes to watch a solar eclipse. Is that true?
Yes it is recommended not to view a solar eclipse when it is in the partial phase. We are providing special protective glasses for you to wear when you check-in at the gate. Please wear them!.
