In partnership with orchestras across the US, the TSO commissioned this work from Mr. Schickele who continues to delight audiences with his satiric, fun take on traditional music!

The surprises continue with an old favorite, but with NEW notes! The recently discovered 2nd version of Mendelssohn’s “Italian” symphony will be heard for the first time in a TSO concert, providing listeners with some unexpected twists and turns.
