Nik Carman is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Suttons Bay, Michigan. He currently plays guitar, mandolin, and banjo. Nik released his first album in February 2015 in Leland when he opened for The Accidentals, The Way Down Wanderers, and Billy Strings & Don Julin. Nik has been opening shows around Northern Michigan for The Accidentals ever since and was especially honored to be their guest at Blissfest Music Festival. He has also opened for the Josh Davis Trio and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. In addition to his regular shows at Northern Natural Cider House, Oryana, VI Grill, and 45 North Winery, Nik performed solo at these summer 2015 festivals: Dunesville, Traverse City Film Festival, Manton Bluegrass Festival, Hoxeyville, Leelanau UnCaged, and Fountain Point Music Festival. He is a regular guest on WTCM radio in Traverse City and has been featured by Interlochen Public Radio, WNMC radio, TV 9&10 News, UpNorth TV, The Traverse City Record-Eagle, The Cadillac News, and Northern Express, in which he was included on their 2015 list of “20 Most Fascinating People”. Nik is a fourth grader at Leelanau Montessori in Suttons Bay.

He will be joined by Joe Wilson and Kevin Gills, collectively known as The True Falsettos. The True Falsettos began performing in the summer of 2010, but Joe & Kevin have a 6-year history of playing western swing & country music together with the bands "Rusty Blaides" & "Sister Wilene".

The True Falsettos' mission is to dig deeper into the music of the 30's & 40's, including hot jazz, western swing, and the popular music of the swing era.
Showcasing dazzling musicianship, while always remaining fun and danceable, the True Falsettos are equally at home playing concerts, festivals, bars and restaurants.
