Fountain Point Resort welcomes Chris Barron, Shawn Mullins, and Steve Poltz on July 20, 2022. Relax and enjoy an intimate music experience featuring three of America’s best singer-songwriters performing “in the round.” Together, the three artists will perform in a traditional writers’ round, as they take turns sharing original songs and the stories behind their finely-crafted lyrics. These artists are best known for their success as both singer-songwriters and priceless story-tellers. 

This unique event is part of a limited 3 concert tour of Northern Michigan. The artists will perform at the Bay View Association (Petoskey) and the Little Traverse Conservancy (Harbor Springs). The only opportunity to see these artists near Traverse City is at the historic Fountain Point Resort, a public outdoor lakefront setting on the shore of the beautiful Lake Leelanau. Fountain Point Resort has hosted over a hundred outdoor concerts, but none open to the public since 2019. 

Concert slate:

• Chris Barron is best known as the lead singer of the Spin Doctors, with top hits: “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can't Be Wrong.” He is a singer-songwriter and a hilarious story-teller. 
• Shawn Mullins is a singer-songwriter specializing in folk rock, instrumental rock, adult alternative, and Americana music. He is best known for the 1998 single Lullaby, (#1 Adult Top 40) and was nominated for a Grammy Award.
• Steve Poltz is a founding member of the indie-rock band The Rugburns and collaborated with Jewel, including on You Were Meant for Me (#2 in U.S.).

Concert begins at 7:30pm. Guests are encouraged to BYOB (coolers welcome), as well as blankets or lawn chairs. Tickets will be limited to 350 people to create a more intimate experience.
