From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, artists will be seen painting in and around picturesque Leland capturing images of historic Fishtown, views of orchards and vineyards, spectacular terrain, and beautiful beaches. A reception and sale of paintings “fresh off the easel” will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm At the Old Art Building in Leland. The exhibit consists of painting produced during the day by artists participating "Leland Air" a Plein Air Event. Tickets for this event are $10 available at mynorthtickets.com, the Old Art Building or at the door.The painting that wins Best of Show will be made into a high quality print that will be for sale throughout the year. The painting will also be used in the poster for the annual Art Leelanau Benefit and Art Exhibition in July.
