About This Event
In 1991, we held our first ‘Friends Rally’ to celebrate the successes of a fledgling Conservancy. Now, 30 years after our founding, our mission remains the same:
To conserve the land, water and scenic character of Leelanau County.
Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to protect over 14,000 acres of the best of Leelanau forever. In the same spirit as in our first-ever gathering, rally with us to celebrate the past, present and future of the Leelanau Conservancy.
- Entertainment by the Cabin Fever String Band, who played at the very first Leelanau Conservancy Rally. 5pm-7:30pm.
- Celebratory address & toast by Executive Director Tom Nelson at 6:30pm.
- Event concludes at 8pm.
- Pre-Event Guided Hikes at Palmer Woods Forest Reserve guided by Conservancy Staff! Register on our website.
