What to expect: The museum will be transformed into an open candlelit sacred space. We'll begin with musical selections by local artists and mindfully transition into an (optional) ever so gently guided sequence of nurturing and restorative movements, concluding with a sacred sound healing meditation cultivating community consciousness through grounding and healing as we move through the art of transformation from the inside out.
On View: A sound charged exhibit AHAVANI MULLEN: Across Centuries and the Eart and the Earth. TERESA DUNN US: A narrative painting series brings voice to stories that people of color, individuals with complex cultural identities, and immigrants shared with her about their daily experience in America. LOIS BEARDSLEE: Vitality and Continuity Art in the Experiences of Anishinaabe, Inuit and Pueblo Women.
We will also individually create a vibrational charged piece of art and enjoy a light, color and sound healing Mandala Meditation in the Dutmers Theatre.
What to bring: Please bring your mat, water, blankets, pillows, blocks and/or bolster. Complimentary Refreshments. Masks Optional.
