The Music House Museum is proud to welcome Hyemin Kim, Nancy Stagnitta, Dane Philipsen, and Michael Coonrod in concert Saturday May 20 at 7:00PM, representing "All About Fantasy" with music by Camille Saint-Saens, Malcolm Arnold, George Enescu, Francoise Borne, Franz Schubert, and Madeleine Dring.


Hyemin Kim serves as a Collaborative Pianist and teaches a secondary piano class at Interlochen Arts Academy. She won at the Vienna International Piano Competition where she received a Schubert Special Award. Dane Philipsen is currently engaged as the principal oboist of the Traverse Symphony Orchestra in northern Michigan and is currently in residence at the Interlochen Center for the Arts where he is the Instructor of Oboe and Chair of Woodwinds for the Interlochen Arts Academy. Praised for her “brilliance and beauty of tone” by the Baltimore Sun, Powell Artist Nancy Stagnitta is a leading crossover artist as both classical flutist and jazz artist. Stagnitta currently serves as Instructor of Flute and Chamber Music at Interlochen Arts Academy and principal flutist with the Traverse Symphony and Great Lakes Chamber Orchestras. Michael Coonrod recently retired from the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Michael Coonrod has taught classical piano lessons and master classes and has played concerts for 57 years.
