About This Event
Join us on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6 for our - Holiday Lights Hike in the Leelanau State Park campground and around the Lighthouse. You will end your hike with Christmas at the Lighthouse. The Lighthouse will be decorated for Christmas.
New this year is Santa's Workshop in the Fog Signal Building. Kids can make Christmas crafts to take home, including ornaments. New this year is the "Parade of Trees" throughout the property and historic buildings. Enjoy the many different tree themes including: patriotic, grinch, lighthouse, Woolsey Airport, Northport in postcards, and many more.
Climb the tower for a night view, enjoy listening to the pump organ and much more. Very family friendly. In addition, your ticket will include 3D glasses to enjoy the lights.
Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children and $25 for a family of 4. All proceeds benefit the Grand Traverse Lighthouse and its restoration projects.

Meet the Organizer
The Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum opened in 1985. Volunteers restored the southern apartment to the 1920's and 1930's time period when the McCormick family lived there. Tour the residence, climb the tower for a spectacular view of Lake Michigan.
