The garden tour features 4 private gardens and the First Congregational Church's Garden of Remembrance. Thank you for your support of The Friendly Garden Club and its Community Projects and Grants.

The Friendly Garden Club of Traverse City was organized in 1923. Its objectives are to stimulate knowledge, to promote the love of gardening, landscape, and floral design; to aid in the protection of native trees, plants, and wildlife; and to encourage environmental responsibility and civic beautification.

Proceeds from ticket purchases allow The Friendly Garden Club to continue serving the Traverse City community with the following projects: Open Space Logo Planting, Arbor Day Planting, Blue Star Memorial, The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park, Traverse Bay Area Horticulture Department, The Children’s Sensory Garden, Yearly Business Landscape Awards, and Yearly Grants to selected projects.
