Kick off the summer with the First Annual CherryPalooza Brew Festival on Cherry Republic’s beautiful campus in Glen Arbor, Michigan! The new Cherry Republic Brewing Co. is joining forces with Short’s Brewing Co. to raise money for the Leelanau Conservancy’s Palmer Woods trail expansion project.
Cherry Palooza will be featuring headliner Joshua Davis, along with music from May Erlewine’s Dance Set, and Reggie Smith & The After Party.

Joshua Davis (8 p.m.)
Joshua Davis was raised in the folk tradition: the music, the social movements, the land. He writes songs that blend the roots of American music with gritty rock n’ roll and vintage soul. Performing Songwriter Magazine called the result, "Some of the liveliest and most rocking roots music around.”
May Erlewine (6 p.m.)
May Erlewine is a Michigan-based singer songwriter and a member of the Earthwork Music Collective. Bring your dancing shoes and join May for a set of classic and original music meant to move and groove! Featuring: Eric Kuhn, Mike Lynch, Joshua Davis, Jon Herman and Geoff Lewis.
Reggie Smith & The After Party (4 p.m.)
Reggie Smith & The After Party is a Detroit-based four-piece rock band with influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to The Black Crowes, U2, The Beatles, all hard rock styles, soul, funk, blues, jazz, and country.
Two ticket types are available for online ordering. Tickets will also be available at the door.

All profits from CherryPalooza will benefit the Leelanau Conservancy’s Palmer Woods Trail expansion project. When the comprehensive trail system is complete, Palmer Woods will be a four-season recreational destination for all ages and abilities of hikers, traditional cross-country skiers, for skate skiers and for mountain bikers!
By the end of 2019, Palmer Woods will include 5.5 miles of mountain biking trails and 6.8 miles of hiking and groomed cross country ski trails for public use. When the entire expansion of the trail system is complete in 2021, we expect Palmer Woods to have over 9 miles of hiking and skiing trails and over 11 miles of mountain biking trails.
Local food trucks and vendors will be on-site to provide tasty nourishment throughout the evening. To boot, the brand new Cherry Public House will be serving a selection of festival style foods.

Free parking and a shuttle service will be available to and from the Glen Lake Community School beginning at 4PM. The last returning shuttle will leave depart the event at 10:15PM.
Also, a free shuttle will be provided between the event in Glen Arbor and the West Bay Beach Resort (Holiday Inn) in Traverse City. Patrons may park at the West Bay Resort. The last shuttle back to the Resort will leave the event at 10:15PM.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, attendees must be at least 21 years of age. Each attendee will be required to show ID upon entrance.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Free parking and a shuttle service will be available to and from the Glen Lake Community School beginning at 4PM and running through 10:15PM.
Glen Lake School is located at 3375 W Burdickville Rd, Maple City, Michigan 49664.
What can I bring into the event?
Purses and personal bags are allowed. Food and drink items will not be allowed.
