Join artist Katherine Corden for a laid-back yet enriching three-hour charcoal (clothed) figure drawing class at The Mill in Glen Arbor. Get cozy in the moody ambiance, where there’s plenty of seating and room to let your creativity flow. Katherine will kick things off with fun gesture drawing warm-ups and guide you through the art of value studies, a tool she relies on heavily in her own drawing and painting practice. Katherine’s background knowledge from her previous physical therapy career will be infused throughout the class as she helps you reference various anatomical landmarks to find balance and proportion in your drawings.
Breaks will be provided throughout, offering you time to enjoy The Mill’s delicious food and light bites, turning this artistic adventure into a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all. Artists of all experience are welcomed!
