About This Event
The engines are revving and the excitement is building as the Boyne City Kiwanis Club prepares to host its annual Labor Day Weekend Car Show on Friday, September 4, and Saturday, September 5, 2026. This family-friendly event has become a beloved tradition, attracting classic car enthusiasts and curious spectators from across Northern Michigan and beyond.
Held in beautiful downtown Boyne City, this year’s show promises two days of chrome, horsepower, and community spirit. From vintage hot rods to muscle cars, custom builds to restored classics, the show offers something for every automotive aficionado.
Schedule of Events:
Friday, September 4 – Free Preview
- 6:00- 9:00 PM: Come preview the cars in the 100-200 block of Water St
- Live Music & Entertainment downtown
- Great opportunity for spectators to see cars and meet the owners
Saturday, September 5 – Main Car Show
- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Car Show at Veterans Park
- Trophies and awards in multiple classes (see class list below)
- Raffles, 50/50 drawings, kids' activities, and local food trucks
- Awards Ceremony begins at 2:00 PM
Registration Info:
- $20 pre-registration (thru August 29), or $25 day-of
- Dash plaques for the first 100 registered cars
- Registration forms also available at facebook/kiwanisclubofboynecity or can be picked up at Boyne City Police Department, Lynda’s Real Estate and the Boyne City Chamber
Proceeds from the event support local youth programs, scholarships, and community service initiatives sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Boyne City.
