Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council is dedicated to protecting northern Michigan's lakes, streams, wetlands, and groundwater through respected advocacy, innovative education, technically sound water quality monitoring, thorough research, and restoration actions. The Watershed Council believes in the capacity to make a positive difference by working locally, regionally, and throughout the Great Lakes Basin to achieve their goals.

Since 1979, the Watershed Council has protected the water resources of Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, and Emmet Counties. The Watershed Council speaks for their members, including full-time and seasonal residents, lake associations, and businesses. They work to maintain the environmental integrity and economic and aesthetic values of the Great Lakes, inland lakes, rivers and streams, wetlands, and groundwater. SING OUT and GIVE BACK every Friday at City Park Grill.
