Join us for a very special evening to benefit FLOW (For Love of Water) and their work to protect the Great Lakes. Enjoy a sit down farm-to-table dinner by Epicure Catering, a performance by Grammy winner Blake Mills, and musings on water from famed chef Mario Batali and author Mike Delp.
The event will take place in the barn at beautiful Cherry Basket Farm, named 'barn of the year in 2014 and 2015'. Drinks, farm to table fare and an evening of entertainment are all included in the ticket price.
All ticket proceeds will benefit FLOW (For Love of Water). Founded in 2011, FLOW, a nonprofit organization, works to protect the Great Lakes through use of public trust principles and an underpinning of strong science and technical analysis.
Holding approximately 20% of the world’s surface freshwater, the Lakes have over 10,000 miles of shoreline in the U.S. and Canada, border 8 states and Ontario, and provide drinking water for 40 million people. They are at risk from invasive species like Asian carp, chemical contaminants, habitat loss, algal blooms, oil and gas pipelines and private water extraction.
