Alluvion Presents: The Mad Angler Meets The Mad Cellist

Cellist Crispin Campbell joins forces with Mike Delp aka The Mad Angler for a special evening of music and spoken word. The duo will perform from their 2019 recording: "The River Under The River - The Mad Angler Meets The Mad Cellist."

Joining Crispin and Mike will be dobro master Joe Wilson, and jazz pianist Steve Stargardt. Together they will weave a tapestry of words and music that will surly result in some ethereal voyages.

This project is a series of live improvisations coupled with Delp's Mad Angler poetry: A curmudgeons view on the world of water and spirit. Campbell takes the cello outside of the classical world, and into a realm of free associations with Delp's earthy, transcendent poems where the unseen world meets the human.

The Alluvion is excited to host this unique performance experience. A project that was originally sponsored by F.L.O.W. (For The Love Of Water) an environmental non-profit based in Traverse City.

This will be a fully seated listening room style show.
