Moss Manor is Michael Dause, Seth Bernard, and Dan Rickabus. A fresh musical project from three familiar faces, creating a beautiful sound like no other. All three of these musicians have performed on The Alluvion stage in different contexts. Now, we are thrilled to have them in Moss Manor form. We so are excited to experience what they will deliver.

Michael Dause has been playing music since he was only four years old, utilizing kitchen pots and pans as his first drum kit. In high school, he became a self-taught guitarist and songwriter, all while garnering experience in theatre, jazz band, marching band, and choir. After gaining an interest in recording music, he attended a year of Belmont University’s audio engineering program before departing to tour an average of 250 shows per year over the course of eight years, performing primarily with The Accidentals. In 2021, Michael began TreeTone Studios, a recording studio based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Having had a love for audio engineering since the age of 15, Michael decided it was time to create an official studio space that could serve not only his own projects, but the West Michigan music scene as well. In 2023, Moss Manor released their first studio album. Moss Manor began as a recording project during the Covid-19 pandemic where all members recorded from their own houses and shared

Seth Bernard is all about creating meaningful change. He is a music maker, cultural warrior, a water protector. Founder and Co-Executive Director of Title Track, working for clean water, racial equity and youth empowerment. Founder of Earthwork Music, encouraging community healing through collective musicianship, and the Earthwork Harvest Gathering, "A celebrated annual cultural that takes place on the family farm where I grew up."

Dan Rickabus is a drummer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and educator living in Grand Rapids. A founding member of The Crane Wives and Public Access, Dan is a seasoned collaborator who is proud to dedicate his spirit to the Collective. In 2017, he released his debut solo record "Void / Journal" - an expansive sonic journey through percussive dream-folk crafted by a massive cast of Earthwork Musicians. New music from Dan's solo project is on the way.
