Event Details

Two of Milwaukee's finest artists and members of Field Report return to The Alluvion stage for an all new experience!

Caley Conway has a knack for writing pointed, personal songs that have the unique ability to cut to the core while simultaneously sounding downright beautiful. Although raised in the Midwest in Wisconsin, Conway got her songwriting start in more alluring places like Hawaii, New Zealand and India after dropping out of art school in the Midwest. In her wanderings, her ukulele became her constant companion and a device to connect with others wherever she went, seeking answers to the universal puzzlement of those sentient Salad Days. Now, mainly on electric guitar, Conway still uses songwriting as a function to connect and a way to communicate where she’s at, so to speak.

Cathedral Becomes Tomb is a sound expression from Wisconsin based artist Barry Paul Clark (adoptahighway, Tontine Ensemble, Field Report) CBT includes double bass in combination with effected audio signals. It draws inspiration from his lived experiences in conjunction with mental health therapy. The catalyst is an attempt to sonically manifest living with anxiety and major depressive disorders.
