It's time for the 5th Annual Orchards at Sunset 5k and fun run. The setting for this exciting event is the Gregory/Miezio Farm in Suttons Bay. Racers will begin on a hilltop in the heart of Leelanau County surrounded by Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay Views.

Orchards at Sunset 5k race will meander through apple and cherry orchards as well as local vineyards. The terrain will vary from maintained paths to grassy hillsides. Participants will get the unique experience of running through some of Northern Michigan's most beautiful countryside at sunset.

The 5k race cost is $30 before October 1st and then $35 after and can be purchased until the event starts. The mile fun run is $10 but free for Leelanau Montessori students when picked up in the office at Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy. T-shirts are not included with the Fun Run Registration. The fun run starts at 4:30pm and the 5K race starts at 5pm. Registration and packet pick up opens at 4pm.
