Join us for a cocktail reception where you will meet the authors, followed by a panel discussion on books, genres, writing techniques, funny stories and insights on the world of novel writing. Afterwards, the authors will be signing books!

Barbara Stark Nemon
...is the award winning author of Even in Darkness and her second novel, Hard Cider set in the Leelanau Peninsula of Michigan. Barbara lives, writes, cycles, does fiber art and gardens in Ann Arbor and Northport, Michigan. After earning her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Art History and a Master's in Speech Pathology from the University of Michigan, she enjoyed a teaching and clinical career working with deaf children. Barbara writes novels, short stories and essays.
... is an actress with a background in theatrical sword fighting, whose credits include the cult classic Army of Darkness. Her favorite projects, however, include acting alongside Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead) and Josef Pilato (Day of the Dead). She has been a producer, director, screenplay writer for stage and film, and was the co-writer/associate producer on Urban Rescuers, a documentary of feral cats which one Best Documentary at the 2003 Valley Film Festival in Los Angeles. On her Plague Town, Plague Nation, Plague World stories, "It's Buffy meets the Walking Dead in a rapid-fire zombie adventure!" We found Dana when Mimi, Willowbrook Mill's owner and avid reader/writer, devoured her books, Spawn of Lilith & Blood Ink and noticed a character was drinking New Holland Brewing Dragon's Milk Ale and reached out to Dana to find out more. This event began because of that Ale reference!
Lyssa Kay Adams
... read her first romance novel in eighth grade after swiping one from her grandmother’s book shelf and was hooked forever. After a nearly 20-year career as a journalist, her dreams of writing and publishing her own HEAs came true in 2015 with the release of her first novel, Seventh Inning Heat, followed by the RITA-nominated novella, Wild in Rio. Today, she writes full-time from her home in Michigan with a pesky, fluffy K9 assistant named Domino who spends most of his day snoring on her desk (that is, when he’s not burying things around the house).
... is a Michigan-based romance author, a puppy mama and a pizza lover. When she's not writing snarky, sexy love stories, she can be found binge-watching Supernatural (she's a Dean girl), memorizing all the song lyrics ever (it's her superpower), or planning her next solo trip (she's thinking Estonia). She is on the board of Lansing's Capital City Writers, and a member of the Romance writers of America, and Mid- Michigan RWA. She has three novels currently available on Amazon and other platforms.
