The Northern Michigan Brass Band (NMiBB) is a 28 piece, British-style brass band with the standardized instrumentation of 1 Eb cornet, 9 Bb cornets, 1 flugelhorn, 3 horns, 2 baritones, 2 tenor trombones, 1 bass trombone 2 euphoniums, 2 Eb tubas, 2 Bb tubas and 3 percussion.
When planning a program, NMiBB tries to remember that not everyone listens to music in the same way. Some people listen with their heads, others with their hearts and still others with their feet. NMiBB includes music that will appeal to all these listening styles on every program.
