Join us as New York cabaret performers Natalie Douglas and Brian J. Nash appear for one night only in OTP’s Mary Schmuckal Theatre.
Ms. Douglas is a seven-time MAC Award, Backstage Bistro Award and Nightlife Award Winner and has garnered rave reviews for her unique mix of jazz, blues, standards, pop, folk and country music. This popular artist and educator received the 2014 Margaret Whiting Award from the Mabel Mercer Foundation and her portrait has been added to the Birdland Jazz Club “Wall of Fame.” Her most recent album is Human Heart, a tapestry of the Great American Songbook.
Mr. Nash, who produced Human Heart, is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy. He was recently the Music Director of Classic Stage Company’s Mother Courage and Her Children and the pre-Broadway Chicago run of Beaches which he also orchestrated. In addition to his extensive work in the theatre, he is also a prolific concert and cabaret performer, working with many accomplished musicians including, of course, Natalie Douglas. Mr. Nash’s new album is Forever/After.
