Ethanology Distillation presents Comedy Night- A professional Stand Up comedy show hosted at the distillery every third Friday, January through April.

We have stepped up the talent this year with new comedians, and are excited to share the lineup with you. Professional comics from all corners of the country will perform at the distillery in Elk Rapids. Each show will consist of two comics, one headliner and one feature.

Headliner: Tom E. Thompson

Bio: Tom E. (pronounced ‘Tommy’) is a big kid who works hard at ignoring adult responsibilities. Refusing to believe that he actually grew up, Tom E. shares stories of balancing his previous party life with his new found role as husband and step-dad to two teenage daughters. Come listen to him explain that he has no idea what he’s doing, but he’s laughing all the way through it.

Feature: Carl Sobel

Bio: When Carl’s dreams of being a professional rock-climber came to an end, he turned to stand-up comedy and never looked back. The West Michigan everyman that craves spontaneity, Carl’s storytelling mixed with off the cuff tangents will keep you laughing at all his misadventures. In addition to appearing on many showcases throughout Michigan, he has also appeared at Dr. Grins and Laughfest.

All shows start at 7:00pm, 21 + and no children will be permitted!
