Leelanau Outdoor Center (LOC)
The Leelanau Outdoor Center provides character and leadership development through extensive outdoor educational programming. A variety of activities are included with these educational programs such as hiking, aquatic studies, animal tracking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, canoeing, and navigating a high ropes course.

Since 1994, classrooms have traveled to the Leelanau Outdoor Center to participate in our three and four day programs. These place based programs encourage participants to recognize the impact of their decisions on personal and group success.

We strive to help students develop a greater understanding of and appreciation for the natural environment. In addition, we gently combine lessons of consideration, kindness, selfless giving, perseverance, courage, personal responsibility, and gratitude with wholesome fun in each moment of the LOC experience.
