For all of the foodies out there this dinner is for you! Offered at the Inn the second Wednesday of every month it includes a five course meal prepared by Chef Jonathan Dayton that features the best of what’s in season from the farm as well as from other local area providers.

It’s almost that time of the year again for our annual Morels in May dinner.  On May 8th beginning at 4 pm, we invite you to venture into the woods on the farm to find the elusive sometimes big, sometimes small, but mighty mushroom. Our seasoned guide will join you alongside your adventure to make sure the wild treats you find are true morels and not the faux ones.

After the hike at 6 pm relax in the Arcturos Dining room for a five course meal (see menu below). Each course will have morels integrated into it, including dessert! Black Star Farms wines will also be flowing and one will be paired to complement each one of the dishes served.

Smoked rabbit and caramelized morels, fromage blanc polenta, raclette crostini, balsamic sauce

Morel and asparagus, pea tendrils, fresh mozzarella, pickled ramp, lardo

Morel and swiss chard stuffed chicken breast, potato puree, chevre

 Leg of lamb, pancetta, crisp morels, morel demi, chive

 Candied morel mushroom ice cream, hazelnut crumble, white chocolate
