About This Event
Celebrate the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with an evening of exceptional Irish music and culture at the AuSable Artisan Village St. Patrick’s Celebration! Join us on Saturday, March 15th, at 7:00 PM at the AuSable Artisan Village Performing Arts Center, located at 122 Michigan Avenue, Grayling, Michigan. This all-ages event is the perfect way to embrace the magic of Irish traditions.
The evening will feature live music from Shannon Lee, a captivating Irish traditional music duo from southeast Michigan. With Hannah Harris on fiddle and vocals and Alberto (Bear) Whitmer on guitar and bodhrán, Shannon Lee delivers performances steeped in the rich traditions of Irish music. Harris’ playing is inspired by legends like Matt Cranitch and Liz Carroll, while Whitmer’s dynamic guitar style draws influence from Tony McManus and John Doyle. Together, their music is both vibrant and soulful, celebrating their formative experiences studying and performing in Ireland.
Both musicians are certified traditional music instructors and seasoned performers, bringing their deep love for Irish music to life in every note.
Don’t miss this chance to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with live music, storytelling, and community spirit! Bring your friends and family for an unforgettable evening.
